Cassie has over 10 years of warranty and lemon law experience in three states and Washington, D.C. Three things are needed in lemon law representation:

  • Knowledge of the law
  • Communication
  • Experience

Aldridge & Aldridge Law Firm excels all three of these areas. With offices in Louisville and Elizabethtown, we represent clients across Kentucky. If you bought a new or used vehicle with a manufacture's warranty and that vehicle has had problem after problem, you may have a case.

What Is A Lemon Law?

Each state has a lemon law that protects consumers when they buy or lease a vehicle that does not perform, usually due to a manufacturing defect. Lemon laws require there to be more than just a simple, fixable problem. An estimated 150,000 vehicles made each year are defective or "lemons." A "lemon" is defined as a vehicle with a defect that affects "the use, safety or value of a vehicle." If, after a reasonable number of attempts, the vehicle cannot be fixed, the law requires the manufacturer to repurchase or replace it. This also applies to guarantees stated in promotional and advertising materials.
